I can be a bit of an overachiever and always dance that line of balance between giving myself to work versus giving time to myself and loved ones.
Kathryn BudigI took my fear to literal heights and went skydiving over a year ago. It was in that moment, gazing over the precipice of the plane, when I realized what scared me the most, the unknown.
Kathryn BudigSo acknowledge here to yourself, โI am unique, and while there may be someone who is better than me at this or that, it doesnโt matter because theyโre not me. So no matter what, theyโll never do it like me because thatโs impossible.โ So embrace the quirks, embrace your individuality, embrace where you are in life. No one else is like you, and that is special, and that is unique.
Kathryn BudigI was a tomboy growing up and then fell into the world of theatre and musical theatre. A girlfriend introduced me to yoga in college and I was hooked. I didn't really know anything about it except that it was the highlight of my week. I ended up graduating from the University of Virginia and moving to Los Angeles where I could continue acting and do a yoga teacher training. I went from practicing once or twice a week to several hours everyday. I loved it.
Kathryn BudigMy motto in life is 'aim true'. It came from my love of Artemis, the goddess of the hunt. She inspired me to sport a gold arrow around my neck because it reminded me of her strength and that I can always hit my mark when I set intention, follow what makes my heart beat, and aim true. The arrow was a reminder that I can cut through any obstacles, that I have power, beauty, and the ability to choose love over fear every moment of my life.
