Just when we think we've messed up so badly that our lives are nothing but heaps of ashes, God pours His living water over us and mixes the ashes into clay. He then takes this clay and molds it into a vessel of beauty. After He fills us with His overflowing love, He can use us to pour His love into the hurting lives of others.

Nothing done with the focus on God is ever a waste of time.

We have to slow the rhythm of rush in our lives so that the best of who are can emerge.

God does not want to make us comfortable as much as He wants to make us comfort-able - to take the comfort that we receive and share it with others.

This life is not about me. It's about joining hands with Jesus to fulfill whatever tasks He sets before me and to share His love with all He brings my way.
