When dealing with children there is greater need for observing than of probing

How does he achieve this independence? He does it by means of a continuous activity. How does he become free? By means of constant effort. we know that development results from activity. The environment must be rich in motives which lend interest to activity and invite the child to conduct his own experiences.

The child, making use of all that he finds around him, shapes himself for the future.

He who experiments must, while doing so, divest himself of every preconception. It is clear then that if we wish to make use of a method of experimental psychology, the first thing necessary is to renounce all former creeds and to proceed by means of the method in the search for truth.

It is true that we cannot make a genius. We can only give to teach child the chance to fulfil his potential possibilities.
