Amateurism seeks the development of the total awareness of the individual and the critical awareness of the ground rules of society. The amateur can afford to loose.

Violence, whether spiritual or physical, is a quest for identity and the meaningful. The less identity, the more violence.

A moral point of view too often serves as a substitute for understanding in technological matters.
