America is just downright mean.

Politics is a waste of time.

I look at how my kids view exercise. They have a complete understanding that nutrition and exercise go hand in hand. I didn't think like that when I was a kid. But they have a real consciousness about it that I'd like to think comes from the years of attention we've put into this.

There is no magic to achievement. It's really about hard work, choices, and persistence.

It is our fundamental belief in the power of hope that has allowed us to rise above the voices of doubt and division, of anger and fear that we have faced in our own lives and in the life of America.

I mean, hope doesn't get actualized in three and a half years. If that were the case, we'd be out of luck as a country.

Doing the impossible is the history of this nation. It is how this country was built
