Being charismatic doesn't make you a leader. Being a leader makes you charismatic.

The art of good decision making is looking forward to and celebrating the tradeoffs, not pretending they don't exist.

Repeating easy tasks again and again gets you not very far. Attacking only steep cliffs where no progress is made isn’t particularly effective either. No, the best path is an endless series of difficult (but achievable) hills.

Great leaders create movements by empowering the tribe to communicate. They establish the foundation for people to make connections, as opposed to commanding people to follow them.

Make a decision. It doesn't have to be a wise decision or a perfect one. Just make one.

Don't try to be the 'next'. Instead, try to be the other, the changer, the new.

Care. Care more than you need to, more often than expected, more completely than the other guy.
