Fundamentalist is a person who considers whether a fact is acceptable to their faith before they explore it. As opposed to a curious person who explores first and then considers whether or not they want to accept the ramifications.

As creators, our pursuit of perfection might be misguided, particularly if it comes at the expense of the things that matter.

This might end up in crying. If you're not prepared to cry about it, I'm not sure you're making art. And if you're not prepared to dance in anticipation, you're definitely not making art.

The problem with requiring people to be loud and angry to get things done is that you're now surrounded by people who are loud and angry.

Perfect can't possibly be the goal, we're left with generous, important and human instead.

The minute there's a map, there is no art. Paint by numbers is not art. Paint by numbers is a mechanical activity.

Art is what we do when we're truly alive.
