I should have thought of this years ago. But that was the problem with being sane. Sane people played by the rules. They looked for rational explanations and solutions in an insane universe.
Sherrilyn KenyonYouโre not weird, are you? (Jack) Not particularly, no. (Syd) Well, good. I got enough weirdness for the lot of us. Donโt want to share it. (Jack)
Sherrilyn KenyonI want to be inside you so badly, Grace,โ he whispered. โI want to feel your legs wrapped around me, feel your breasts against my chest, hear you moaning as I make slow, sweet love to you. I want your smell on my body, your breath on my skin.
Sherrilyn KenyonDonโt cry for me, Grace. Iโm not worth it. (Julian) Yes you are! (Grace) You are my saving Grace. Without you, I would never have known love. And I would never have known me again. (Julian)
Sherrilyn KenyonInside us all are pieces of that which makes the neagitve. Demons are neither good nor bad. Like you, they have many facets. It is that inner essence, or drive, if you will, that we all have that guides us through our lives. Sometimes those voices that drive us are whispered memories that live deep inside and cause us such pain that we have no choice except to let it out and to hurt those around us. But at other times, the voice is love and compassion, and it guides us to a gentler place. In the end, we, alone, must choose what path to walk. No one can help us with it. (Menyara)
