When you go beyond awareness, there is a state of nonduality, in which there is no cognition, only pure being. In the state of nonduality, all separation ceases.

When I look beyond the mind, I see the witness. Beyond the witness, there is infinite intensity of emptiness and silence.

Freedom to do what one likes is really bondage, while being free to do what one must, what is right, is real freedom.

In the mirror of your mind all kinds of pictures appear and disappear. Knowing that they are entirely your own creations, watch them silently come and go. Be alert, but not perturbed. This attitude of silent observation is the very foundation of yoga. You see the picture, but you are not the picture.

If you are angry or in pain, separate yourself from anger and pain and watch them. Externalization is the first step to liberation.

When all the false self-identifications are thrown away, what remains is all-embracing love.

Only the people who have gone beyond the world can change the world.
