Happiness is the ultimate goal for many of us. We all dream of one day having it, and the truth is that happiness is a momentary state that we have experienced many times. We don't have to chase it, seek it, suffer it, or fight for it. It's enough to know what we want, follow our goals and dreams, and enjoy the moment.

If you're still wondering how happy you are at this stage of your life and if you can call yourself that, I offer you six signs that give away a happy person.

😊 Happy people smile

It's pretty obvious that a happy person smiles, and often. Happy people feel an inner lightness that helps them to have fun, laugh and enjoy their life.

😊 Happy people have dreams and goals

When we are unhappy, we rarely dream. We postpone our goals for better days so we can wallow in our unhappiness. Conversely, a happy people have dreams. Their imagination is constantly working and they never stop setting new goals and marching towards them with confidence and ease.

😊 Happy people are calm

Happy people rarely lose ground under their feet. Happiness actually brings us peace. When we know everything is okay, it's much easier to be cool, level-headed and not give in to anger, stress and nerves.

😊 Happy people are well-intentioned

They say there is no worse person than an unhappy one. A happy person is certainly a good one. They are satisfied with her life, so they manage to broaden their horizons enough to be useful to others. They take every opportunity to do good and to treat people kindly.

😊 Happy people are productive

When our thoughts are not clogged with problems and self-pity, it is far easier to be productive, energetic and active. This is another sign of a happy person - they have the drive to conquer the world, and they probably will.

😊 Happy people are on top of things /not fussing/

Happiness is actually about being able to get out of the mire of household problems and everyday irritations. This state of absence of all stress in itself brings happiness. If you want to be happier, you might as well start back to front - try to gradually let go of stress and you will surely be happier than before.
