I was influenced by the political environment of our country that has just gained freedom from British colonialism. And the seminal figures in that environment were Mahatma Gandhi, who had been assassinated shortly after I was born, but nevertheless dominated the collective psyche of the country. And of course there were other statesmen who were very much part of the culture we knew as well as looked upon by society as leaders, and mentors, and people that inspires us to have a vision for idealism.

In the now, time ceases to exist and we experience a presence that is all-absorbing, completely at peace, and totally satisfying.

Spiritual energy-the energy that comes from pure consciousness-is the creative energy of the universe.

Most of us take for granted that time flies, meaning that it passes too quickly. But in the mindful state, time doesn't really pass at all. There is only a single instant of time that keeps renewing itself over and over with infinite variety.

Ask yourself, "Is there anything in my life that is causing me to feel a sense of unease, discomfort, or pain?" You can choose a persistent issue that has bothered you for years, or it may be something that has recently come up for you. While it's fine to focus on a chronic, physical disorder, don't approach this exercise as a cure - we're focusing on patterns of perception that encourage us to hold onto suffering.

There are worlds of possibility inherent in our consciousness that can facilitate our own transformation. What future have you imagined for yourself?

When you let go of the need for any and all outcomes life becomes a creative magical adventure.
