I think seriousness is a mask of self-importance and self-importance in turn is a mask for self-pity. So if you're really going to pursue a spiritual way of living in the world, you must be lighthearted and carefree, have humor, be able to tolerate ambiguity and embrace uncertainty, and be forgiving of yourself and everybody else.

If you look at all the notions we accept about who we are, you find that they are all based upon our perceptual experiences.

What happens is consciousness operates in mysterious ways. One of those ways is that the old paradigm suddenly starts to die.

Since the universe is in constant and dynamic exchange, we need to both give and receive to keep abundance, love and anything else we want circulating in our lives.
