Whenever you are in a perceptual field, it seems like it's ultimate. It's a self-wrapping consciousness. There doesn't seem or appear to be anything else other than the attention field that you're in.

Be careful of someone who starts asking a lot of questions about you. Start asking a lot of questions about them. Turn it around.

Life has no meaning. It doesn't need a meaning. A meaning is an arbitrary thought formulation that we affix to it because we are in the mood. Life is its own raison d'etre.

In Zen we have no gurus.

In my travels, I have found two peoples, the Tibetans and the Fijians, who don't seem to have this problem. Their closeness with their environment, their religions, and their relationships with each other and nature make them feel part of everything.

Many people spend their life always worrying about whether they have enough to cover expenses. They experience unhappiness.

When you meditate you are accessing eternity. You are plugging yourself into that source which is all light and all beauty and all perfection.
