I like to shop. I don't always buy things when I shop, but I think it's fun to go out and look at the worlds of colors. I love to roam through supermarkets. I am a great lover of household products. I particularly like the packaging of cereal boxes.

When it comes time to die, you will not be afraid. By meditating, you will have already seen beyond life and death and you will see there is nothing to fear.

You see, Buddhists are optimists. We never saw sunsets in Atlantis like we do now. We didn't have those great chemicals in the air.

There is a certain degree of pain to be experienced in the search for self-knowledge, as there is a certain amount of joy. You just do it because you find yourself doing it. There just doesn't seem to be much else worthwhile.

Learn not to be attached to other people, to certain types of experiences. Allow the flow of life to guide you wherever it is supposed to and accept with equanimity, with balance, with poise, whatever happens.

Tantric Zen is more suited for this age that we live in. It give you rules, but in a gentle way. It's not as demanding.

If you use your will all the time, then it runs out. You deplete yourself and then, when you really need it, it's not there.
