When contemplating the pursuit of a dream or the start of a new venture, too many people are hesitant to begin because they can't comprehend the entire journey. If that's where you find yourself right now, don't expect to understand what it takes to get to the top. Just take the next step. There's no shame in starting small; in fact, if you don't start small, you'll probably never start at all.

The longer you wait to do something you should do now, the greater the odds that you will never actually do it.

If churches would take ownership of a vision, the next pastor who is thinking about coming to that church can see what their vision is and then determine if their vision fits with his or her ministry. If it doesn't, then it would be wrong for that pastor to come to that church.

Diligent follow-up and follow-through will set you apart from the crowd and communicate excellence.

The best place for a leader isn't always at the top position. It is the place where they can serve the best and add the most value to other people.

To succeed in life, we must stay within our strength zone but continually move outside our comfort zone.
