The best leaders are readers of people. They have the intuitive ability to understand others by discerning how they feel and recognizing what they sense.

Perhaps our greatest power in life is the power to choose. Without question, choices are the most determining factor in how our lives turn out.

When you face discouragement, you can do one of two things, and the one you choose will color your perspective. You can look at others to place the blame, or you can look at yourself to discover your opportunities. The choice is yours.

Until I understand where I am, I can’t get to where I am going. This is the value of a compass when we are out walking or hiking and need to know we’re going in the right direction. But we also have an internal North Star. It’s that little nudge that tells us if we are on the right path to fulfilling our potential, or on the wrong path wasting energy traveling somewhere we don’t need to go. So my advice to you is, pull out that compass every once in a while and make sure you are navigating in the right direction on your journey.

Always turn to God in the midst of your struggle and view people who offended you as an instruments of divine sovereignty.

The harder you try to forget something, the more you think about it subconsciously.

We choose what attitudes we have right now. And it's a continuing choice.
