It's the same argument people say about the blogs. The blogs are responsible. No, they're not. The blogs are like anything else. You judge each one based on its own veracity and intelligence and all of that.

I don't approve of political jokes; I have seen too many of them get elected.

If there was one lesson to be drawn from Bush's appearance (on 'Meet the Press') it's that he doesn't have to be forthcoming or honest. And he's the first to tell you why. (Bush:) 'I'm a war president.' He added: 'I guess I should have told you that back in 2000.'

You can truly grieve for every officer who's been lost in the line of duty in this country, and still be troubled by cases of police overreach.

I want to look back on my career and be proud of the work, and be proud that I tried everything.

Any fool can blow something up. Any fool can destroy. But to see these guys, these firefighters and these policemen and people from all over the country, literally with buckets, rebuilding... that's extraordinary. And that's why we have already won... they can't... it's light. It's democracy. They can't shut that down.

Apparently the only time the press gets it right is when the White House illegally leaks it to them.
