My biggest motivation? Just to keep challenging myself. I see life almost like one long University education that I never had - everyday I'm learning something new.

Confidence breeds confidence and negativity breeds negativity. Treat those around you with respect and dignity and they will thrive.

I was interested in creating things that I could be proud of and so, you know, I was interested in being an editor of a magazine, things that I could be proud of, and so, you know, I was interested in being an editor of a magazine, but in order to be an editor of a magazine I had to become a publisher as well. I had to pay the bills. I had to worry about the printing and the paper manufacturing and the distribution of that magazine.

To have created one of the most respected companies in the world. Not necessarily the biggest.

I am a great believer that you need passion and energy to create a truly successful business.

A good idea for a new business tends not to occur in isolation, and often the window of opportunity is very small. So speed is of the essence.
