I've been lucky to have survived balloon trips, boating trips, you know, a lot of rather foolish things in my life, so I was definitely born under a lucky star.

I had to pay the bills. I had to worry about the printing and the paper manufacturing and the distribution of that magazine.

I never really felt secure until I was well into my 30s, because anytime I had success, I would invest in new projects.
