You shouldn’t blindly accept a leader’s advice. You’ve got to question leaders on occasion.

Never go into business purely to make money. If that's the motive you're better off doing nothing.

People are no different from flowers. If you water them, they flourish. If you are not nice to them, they shrivel up

The time to go into a new business is when it’s badly run by others.

My mother was determined to make us independent. When I was four years old, she stopped the car a few miles from our house and made me find my own way home across the fields. I got hopelessly lost.

With space travel, [it's] no different. You know, in 1990 I read the name Virgin Galactic Airways. Loved the name. And set out to try to find an engineer or rocket scientist in the world who could build a safe, reusable rocket that could take people to and from space and we could start a whole new era of commercial space travel.

Life can seem rather unreal at times. Alive and well and loving one day. No longer there the next.
