Viewing the web as a platform for generosity is very different than seeing an opportunity to turn it into an ATM machine.

So by giving people a tool that they can share and benefit from, it's a form of media that isn't controlled by Rupert Murdoch or the guys at Viacom. It is a form of media that is earned every single time it spreads.

The internet was supposed to homogenize everyone by connecting us all. Instead what it's allowed is silos of interest.

Is it worth getting one more tweet out, or putting your phone down and doing something that is worth tweeting?

Surprise and delight and connection are remarkable.

There's no correlation between how good your idea is and how likely your organization will be to embrace it.

Anyone who says failure is not an option has also ruled out innovation.
