Fire the committee. No great website in history has been conceived of by more than three people. Not one. This is a deal breaker.

If you don't get it built, the work doesn't matter.

You can't fool all the people, not even most of the time. And people, once unfooled, talk about the experience.

What are you working on? If someone asks you that, are you excited to tell them the answer? If you're not, you're wasting away.

Lack of resources (payroll), time and competing priorities are why so many nonprofits haven't done well. It's that simple.

Our best work can't possibly appeal to the average masses, only our average work can. Finding the humility to happily walk away from those that don't get it unlocks our ability to do great work.

Fear is the dream killer, the silent voice that pushes us to lose our passion in a vain attempt to seek safety.
