Joy is a natural way of being.

You can’t have your daughter as long as you have a concept of her. When you get rid of the concept, you meet your daughter for the first time. That’s the way this works.

I could go on and on about how the statements and concepts that used to depress me now bring me joy, but that is not easily understood for people who think the way I used to think and believe what I used to believe.

When you say or do anything to please, get, keep, influence, or control anyone or anything, fear is the cause and pain is the result.

They say, "Katie, you're wrong." And if I say, "How dare you say that? I have studied and studied." Or, "I am an expert in" whatever area we're talking about. Or, "No, you are wrong! And I think you're rude!" Or anything like that, and if we don't say it out loud, maybe we think it, but that's stressful. The moment I've defended, in any way, I've started the war.

The mind at war with itself does war with any other mind, and that produces war in the world - all of it.

I can find only three kinds of business in the Universe: mine, yours, and God's.
