The current perception I get from the evening news is that the world is dominated by human failure, crime, catastrophe, corruption, and tragedy. We are all tuning in to see how the human mind is evolving, but the media keeps hammering home the opposite, that the human mind is mired in darkness and folly.

My true self contains every possibility.

When we accept all of life's contradictions, when we can comfortably flow between the banks of pleasure and pain, experiencing them both while getting stuck in neither, then we are free.

The reason that ego and love are not compatible comes down to this: you cannot take your ego into the unknown, where love wants to lead. If you follow love, your life will become uncertain, and the ego craves certainty.

When something seems to change in the world, the rishis said, it is really you that is changing.

When you are completely free from boundaries, you don't have to have a huge number of material things. You already own something far more precious. You own yourself.

Embrace the unpredictable and unexpected. It is the path to the infinitely creative in you.
