You have got to get your power up and do something and not just sit around. Always be optimistic. Always be positive! And ignore those who aren't, because they're obviously confused, and out of touch with light.

If you want to become enlightened, you've got to get all the bullshit out of your life. You have to clear up your mind completely.

In the West, we think of sports and athletics as individual achievement, the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat; it all revolves around the ego. This has nothing to do with the Zen of sports and athletics.

Use power to intelligently apprehend people who might harm you. Use that power to not be afraid. Simply step around them.

When you do something half-heartedly, you don't get much of a result. When you do it fully, you get a great result.

If someone else runs faster than you or makes more money than you or is more adept at anything, that doesn't mean you have lost. You are measuring yourself only against yourself and your tendencies not to do all that you are capable of doing.
