The vast majority of the students I have taught have become self-sufficient and confident individuals who enjoy their lives.

Any area you slough off in your life will reflect in your meditation. Be happy when you could be depressed. Push jealous, fear, and anger out of your mind. Don't feel sorry for yourself.

Transmission does not have to take place physically. The student doesn't have to be sitting across from you. But it's easier if they are because the vibration of the teacher is strongest in the physical proximity of the teacher.

Sometimes we have to be hard on ourselves. We've got to get on our case, if we are being sloppy, lazy, and indulgent.

Love is something that we don't control. We have to be ourselves. You can be sexual, nonsexual, asexual, bisexual, or trisexual and it really doesn't have a lot to do with enlightenment.

As long as we remain self-reflective and keep looking at who and what we are, as long as we keep our analysis that way, then there's no freedom. We're just trying clothes on in front of a mirror and admiring them.

People get together and go to the movies or on hikes, but everyone maintains their own independent domicile.
