The purpose of life is happiness. What else could it possibly be?

Buddhism doesn't come from anybody. It exists by itself.

It is not the part of divinity to go to humanity and to modify itself in any shape, manner or form; rather it is up to humanity to make itself available to divinity.

Initially there's absolutely nothing.

A Buddhist monk has a responsibility first and foremost to themselves, and that's to find the truth each day in every part of their life.

Now, stopping thought is only the beginning. As Brahmananda, who was a disciple of Sri Ramakrishna, once remarked: The inner life begins with samadhi. This is an awesome thought, I realize, for the average person who meditates, that it could begin with samadhi.

Mindfulness is paying attention to what is going on. Just look at beauty. Not just the beauty of things you see with your eyes, but beautiful feelings, beautiful awareness. There is no such thing as reality. Reality is what you make it.
