The purpose of life is happiness. What else could it possibly be?

Even the rich aren't often happy. Their wealth is at best only a temporary distraction. It doesn't make them immune to emotional and mental suffering, or to disease and death. They too must deal with loneliness, the deaths of loved ones and the frustrations and boredom of old age.

You don't have to take drugs to be happy. You don't have to drink to be happy. You don't have to have people around you who love you to be happy. You don't need anything except the clarity of your own mind.

It is possible to exert a power over all things, all beings. But we must begin with intent always.

As we gradually open that bubble and allow the luminous being inside to come out, your second attention will develop and you'll begin to see, deal with, and become the totality of yourself.

Through high school, college, graduate school and beyond, I had a number of relationships that were wonderful.

You do have an effect on the universe. If you think positive thoughts, if you are happy and progressive, then that energy affects everyone on the whole planet, in subtle ways, perhaps, but it does.
