You can't throw your ego away, but you can use its innate desire to experience that which is beyond itself to give you the impetus to meditate.

I've moved a lot of my students into a high state of mind, but they don't do the things I have shown them how to do. So then, they drop down into a lower stage of attention.

You are new at every moment. You are an extension of the previous moment of your awareness. You can radically change, if you unhook yourself from what you have been.

The advanced student of meditation takes an active part in supporting the work of their teacher. They happily work more hours or do whatever is necessary to help out more.

In the training process, the teacher addresses two sides of your being. One is the tonal and one is the nagual.

The nagual doesn't give you the ability to get what you want in the tonal.

Somewhere there is an essence. It is not a physical somewhere. There is no sense of world, of time and space. That is nirvana.
