Somewhere in the world, someone is doing something that you decided couldn't be done.

Set a goal, and in small, consistent steps, work to reach it. Get support from your peers when you start flagging. Repeat. You will change.

As you've probably discovered, great work makes us uncomfortable.

Believe in what you do, because you may have to do it for a long time before it catches on.

No one can force you to stand up, speak up and make a difference. But if you back off and play along, please understand that whatever happens happened, at least in part, because you acquiesced.

Just saying yes because you can't bear the short-term pain of saying no is not going to help you do the work.

Playing the game is a form of winning the game. In those competitions, we win by being resilient.
