Great leaders don’t try to be perfect. They try to be themselves. And that’s what makes them great.

Stand for people. Not a product or service or metric or number. If we stand for real, living, breathing people, we will change the world.

Work requires effort. Things we love to do feel effortless. Only do the things you love and you'll never have to work again.

All these companies that grew to any sizable proportions were all founded with a belief or a cause bigger than their products or services. It was their products or services that helped them bring that cause to life.

I never set out to do the things I'm doing now.

All organizations start with WHY, but only the great ones keep their WHY clear year after year. Those who forget WHY they were founded show up to the race every day to outdo someone else instead of to outdo themselves. The pursuit, for those who lose sight of WHY they are running the race, is for the medal or to beat someone else.

Courage isn't inside; it's external. It comes from someone else telling you they believe in you.
