Entrepreneurs must be practical experts. They needn't set out to be subject matter experts in what they do; they must set out to solve a problem or pursue some cause or purpose greater than themselves.

Selfish is easy. It's sharing that takes courage.

A leader's job is not to do the work for others; it's to help others figure out how to do it themselves, to get things done and to succeed beyond what they thought possible.

A leader should not take credit when things go right if they are not willing to accept responsibility when things go wrong.

We learn most not from all of the things that go right. We learn most when everything goes wrong.

Let us not attack those who disagree. Let us defend those who follow.

Focus on long term success but be willing to make short term adjustments to get there
