Love is when there is no denying "it"... that magical, elusive feeling that really seizes us and takes us from the inside. To me, it's in the corners of my niece's little smile, or when I see my mother is calling me from Australia, or when I hear my husband's footsteps in our hallway. It's in the mundane and in the epic.

I've been a vegetarian for a while now and I try to give my body plenty of what it craves.

For all the yoga I do (and I do plenty), I also love the time I spend jogging. It gets me in sync with myself.

For me, gratitude only brings positivity. As simplified as it sounds, I think that is key.

One thing I do know is that we are fortunate to be here and we're here to try and better ourselves and to be good.

Try and benefit others, animals, the whole of the earth, as much as you can. And in that space, challenge yourself to find what it is you can bring about through your life's work.

It's a fact of life that how you dress affects how you are perceived and whether your contribution to a meeting is registered as worth listening to. It was most alarming the way people's attitudes changed when I started wearing my designer suits to committee meetings. Obviously, it's not just the clothes that count; you have got to have something worth saying. But it si true that some people's views are dismissed before they speak because others perceive them as just a secretary!
