All health begins with how we perceive ourselves and our bodies.

Our inner guidance comes to us through our feelings and body wisdom first - not through intellectual understanding. The intellect works best in service to our intuition, our inner guidance, soul, God or higher power - whichever term we choose for the spiritual energy that animates life.

The inability to love and accept yourself and your humanity is at the heart of many illnesses. To be loved and accepted, you must start by loving yourself. If you have traits that you consider unlovable, you must love them anyway... it's a paradox.

I want women and girls everywhere to know - deep in their bone marrow - that girls are born special, whole, and perfect, and nothing can alter that.

Consciousness creates the body. Our bodies are made up of dynamic energy systems that are affected by our diets, relationships, heredity, and culture and the interplay of all these factors and activities... We cannot hope to reclaim our bodily wisdom and inherent ability to create health without first understanding the influence of our society on how we think about and care for our bodies.

Illness is often a sign that you need to make an adjustment in your life path.

The more you move toward what makes you feel good, and move away from those things which bring you distress and pain, the healthier you will be.
