Choosing to be miserable is an option, but not one I recommend.
I believe it is important for people to create a healthy mental environment in which to accomplish daily tasks.
The process of letting go is like taking a journey to the center of your being.
The ego constantly competes with the spirit for control over your inner voice.
Giving up represents a choice you make when you decide not to take action on something over which you actually do have control.
Acknowledging and accepting whatever stuff you may have to let go comes easier when you love yourself.
