We must never pretend appreciation, but if we feel it, then we must express it

We Americans sit at the head of the banquet table, as we have done for a century. Our standard of living is luxurious by any measure.

Meeting a stranger can be totally fleeting and meaningless, for example, unless you enter the individual’s world by finding out at least one thing that is meaningful to his or her life and exchange at lest one genuine feeling. Tuning in to others is a circular flow: you send yourself out toward people; you receive them as they respond to you.

A flow of happiness and abundance will manifest when you have reached the deepest level of yourSelf.

Looking for yourself is like a thirsty fish looking for water.

Today, I embrace my potential to be, do, and have whatever I can dream.

It takes a little bit of mindfulness and a little bit of attention to others to be a good listener, which helps cultivate emotional nurturing and engagement.
