Self-awareness is value-free. It isn't scary. It doesn't imply that you will subject yourself to needless pain.

How old are you? If your first reflex is to reply with your chronological age, the number on your birth certificate, you are only one-third correct. There are actually two additional, and more important, indicators of age. And the exciting news is that it is within your power to adjust both of these other "age indicators" and truly grow younger and live longer.

As you focus on simplifying your life, make sure that your approach to the process is a loving and accepting one. Know that you are doing all that you can do right now, and that is all anyone can do.

If you contemplate the Golden Rule, it turns out to be an injunction to live by grace rather than by what you think other people deserve.

You belong in the scheme of the universe. There's nothing to be afraid of. You are Safe.
