Every second of time is a doorway to unbounded possibilities. Yet if you are not open to them, these possibilities shrink.

Love allows your beloved the freedom to be unlike you. Attachment asks for conformity to your needs and desires. Love imposes no demands. Attachment expresses an overwhelming demand - "Make me feel whole." Love expands beyond the limits of two people. Attachment tries to exclude everything but two people.

We've just done a five-day retreat at the Chopra centre and people who went to the meditation retreat saw their anti-ageing enzyme increase by 40 per cent. We looked at their 23,000 genes and the self-healing genes were up regulated and all the genes related to heart disease, cancer and inflammatory diseases, diabetes, they all went down within five days.

You know that you have fully experienced love when you turn into love - that is the spiritual goal of life.

Nothing could be closer than the present, yet nothing slips away faster.
