Desires are seeds waiting for their season to sprout. From a single seed of desire, whole forests grow.

Let us realize that engagement and detachment aren't opposite-the more engaged we become, the more detached we will have to be.

Karma, memory, and desire are just the software of the soul. It's conditioning that the soul undergoes in order to create experience. And it's a cycle. In most people, the cycle is a conditioned response. They do the same things over and over again.

Customs change with time, so it isn't fair to permit change only when you happen to approve of it but condemn change citing biblical authority when you don't.

For everyone, well-being is a journey. The secret is committing to that journey and taking those first steps with hope and belief in yourself.

The whole material world. It doesn't actually exist. Matter is not material. It's made up of atoms that are moving at lightning speeds around huge empty spaces. So as you go beyond the appearance of molecules, you end up with a subatomic world, and if you go beyond that you end up with nothing. Nothing is the source of everything.

The soul is a living, dynamic part of each person. It exists as consciousness and therefore must be found in consciousness.
