The light is too painful for someone who wants to remain in darkness.

Suffering begins when you mentally label a situation as bad. That causes an emotional contraction. When you let it be, without naming it, enormous power is available to you. The contraction cuts you off from that power, the power of life itself.

If you live only in one culture for the first 20 years of your life, you become conditioned without knowing it.

Life is the dancer and you are the dance.

You are the knowing, not the condition that is known.

Fulfill me, make me happy, make me feel safe, tell me who I am. The world cannot give you those things, and when you no longer have such expectations, all self created suffering comes to an end.

We have forgotten what rocks and plants still know - we have forgotten how to be - to be still - to be ourselves - to be where life is here and now
