You start meditation as an average human being who is filled with vagueness and not much purpose or definition, who is controlled by their desires, your mind spins all over the place, your senses spin all over the place, out of control.

W are all carrying the imprints of our most ancient ancestors. Not simply in the genetic code, but in the imprints of attention that are passed on.

Enlightenment is already there inside us and all things. All we have to do is get something out of the way that is causing us not to see that.

Within the universe there is a pure light. It is a light that is beyond all darkness. It does not give way to anything. It is the light of existence, the dharmakaya.

Love the fading flowers as much as you love the undifferentiated which lasts forever.

People who are drawn to meditation have had lots of incarnation in the world of experience, and we know the score. We know that experience is great, but it's not enough.

If you suspect someone is draining you, generally you should not confront them, but be nice, relax them, and then see what they are doing.
