An artist is someone who uses bravery, insight, creativity, and boldness to challenge the status quo. And an artist takes it (all of it, the work, the process, the feedback from those we seek to connect with) personally.

Ideas don't get smaller when they're shared, they get bigger.

While you may have made money doing something a certain way yesterday, there's no reason to believe you'll succeed at it tomorrow.

We need to care enough to connect, to put ourselves at emotional risk and play one note worth hearing.
