It's about art. About people throwing themselves on the line. It's about passion and the selfless pursuit of an ideal.

Perception is all there is. If the customer think he's right, he's right.

My half-baked reading of history is that we continue to go through these waves of entrepreneurial explosion followed by merger mania and consolidation. Out of that come big sluggish companies that eventually collapse under the weight of what they've created, and are killed off by the next wave of entrepreneurs.

Now that gigabytes of accessible, malleable information can be carried in one's pocket, we probably will start to see some widespread shifts and trends in how and where people interact with digital documents.

The best leaders... almost without exception and at every level, are master users of stories and symbols.
