For the office worker, it's office automation using computer technology: enterprise-resource-planning systems, groupware, intranets, extranets, expert systems, the Web, and e-commerce.

An ability to embrace new ideas, routinely challenge old ones, and live with paradox will be the effective leader's premier trait.
