Wrestling is a performance. Its entertainment, we [wrestlers] tell stories. We make our fans happy by telling stories but the long and short of it its pretty much the same thing as acting.

We wanted to do it right. There is an expectation and WWE has a reputation to deliver the best show we possibly can when we perform in a new part of the world. We wanted to deliver Abu Dhabi with the best product we could. Also it's very difficult to make the travel work as we are constantly touring throughout the year.

But I've been freestyling and messing around with rhyming since I was 13. That's when I really started listening to hip-hop music.

I would say luck and preparation. I didn't dominate WWE when I first started, it was a slow process. I wasn't labelled the golden child from day one, it's been a very long road.

When people show loyalty to you, you take care of those who are with you. It's how it goes with everything. If you have a small circle of friends, and one of those friends doesn't stay loyal to you, they don't stay your friend for very long.

You're gonna get helped, if you're lacking it, in any way, because everybody's objective is to make a good picture.

I hang out with a lot of the people I did when I was in high school, when I was in college, and I have a strong unit of people around me, whether it be friends or family, and if my head gets too big, they will definitely check me immediately.

What I want to do is, I want to put together a nice list of those guys who I really did admire when I was growing up, listening to names like Lord Finesse.

My advice to young people in the wrestling business would be to repeat such questions to yourself as: "How am I standing out? How am I getting recognized? How am I getting over?" And if you don't have definitive answers for doing those things, you are doing it wrong. It is, essentially, on them. There is no right way to do it, and that's one of the great things about this business because you can be creative. People who say they have it figured out are wrong.

This is everything to me. If I don't have this, I don't know what else I'll be doing. I personally have found where I belong. You can cut back to photos of me holding, uh, paper championships. That was truly my dream. This is what I was born to do. As far as walking away from all this to do something else, I don't..I just don't...I don't see the rationality.
