That as bad as they might have thought the government was on health care, it`s now created people that the absence of government healthcare is even worse.

I think most people are decent people. I don't know if they could stand the pressure he's under, but most people aspire to be decent people.

Recall that people like to do what most people think it is right to do; recall too that people like to do what most people actually do.

I think people will lie to pollsters. I think the truth of Obama and what people think of Obama is when you ask people about his agenda and then nobody likes anything. They don't like Obamacare. But you put him in the question and people get scared to say anything negative because of the racial component.

The problem a lot of writers have is that they really, really enjoy people saying, "You're brilliant." They let their self-perception be dictated by reader response. But if you're going to let other people make you feel good, you're going to end up feeling bad when they say the opposite. You've got to be a cultural stoic. Then you won't be devastated by people who respond negatively. Of course, the downside is that it sort of stops you from being able to enjoy people liking your work.
