Look over here! There are enough people who like my stuff." And it sorta has seemed to be true.

When I turned 50, I threw myself a big birthday party, and I looked seriously at what my life has been about. I recommend this to everybody. Ask yourself, "What have I done? How did I do it? My illness has changed me - I've always thought "life is short and I wanna make as much of it as I can," but I really don't have time to mess around.
